This is a vintage letter opener from Phillips 66, in a leather sheath. The opener is chrome and marked 'Italy'. Stamped in gold is the Phillips 66 logo, Loran Limpus Missoula, and further down, the name of my great uncle. Overall in excellent condition, a little gold has flaked from the logo. Loran Limpus owned the Phillips 66 bulk plant in Missoula. The opener probably dates to late 1950s to mid 1960s, Limpus died in 1969, and my uncle was a longtime resident of Missoula. A great addition to your collection.
