What I have here is some rare very large ceder slabs...
These trees were over a hundred years old
They were salved out of the Appalachian Mts...
There are not many ceders left like this in the country..
You get all three pieces....

The bark on red cedar will not stay on, it will

peel off , the live edge is the sap wood

These pieces are were cut on a ban saw mill...
They are not sanded or treated in any way...
These pieces are kept inside in the dry, they were brought out for pics only...

Slabs are being sold as raw materiel , in the bark and sap wood insects may be present , it is left to the costumers once wood is being worked down t clean out any insects.. Most likely there wont be...
