    Description

    This hand made Murano glass Red Lory was made by Formia for the Hamilton Collection Exotic Birds of the World, a limited edition of 7500. The series, composed of 8 birds, was launched in 1984. The bird is approximately 8.75 inches tall (the heights of the 8 birds vary, presumably based on the natural relative size of the birds as well as normal variations in hand made glass). Both the Formia label and the Made in Murano label are still attached (see last photo). The bird is in excellent used condition-no chips, cracks or scratches (even almost no shelf wear on the base).
