    Description

    This is a very unusual piece. I can't find one to compare to. Definitely not my area of expertise but I love it. A frosted blue color glass, almost reminds me of a vaseline type glass texture. The head, is embossed or imprinted/stamped with what looks to be "925 *1913 VI AG" It reminds me of a dish that could be used to maybe put mints in or maybe a trinket dish. Even though there are surface wear, scratches and places, I do NOT see any chips, nicks or cracks. To be as old as it is, I would consider the overall condition to be good, used, vintage condition. There are reflections off the silver head. And the photos really do not do it justice. I cannot find one to compare to. Pictures taken of all sides/angles, including top, bottom and close-up of the imprint/embossed stamp on its head. From the front of the sterling silver head bill or beak to the back of the frosted blue glass tail, it measures approximately 9 inches long. Approximately 5 3/4 inches across and from the top of the head to the bottom of the glass approximately 4 inches. The depth from the top of the glass to the bottom is approximately 2 1/4 inches. Hopefully the photos will help speak for the description. On my invoice from the estate I purchased it from it has printed under description "blue murano duck silver head" Please look at all the photos and please be your own judge about everything.
