Description
Vintage early 1980s Viceroy/InGlasco official NHL game puck. This is the much-rarer version with the orange circle reading 'OFFICIAL NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE PUCK MADE IN CANADA INGLASCO CORP. L.T.D.' These are much-harder to find than the NHL shield reverse.Like with the 1970s Viceroys which had versions V1-4, there are different versions of this style. I do not know how many or what designations they are given, but this one has 'CANADA' imprinted on the side. There is currently listed a North Stars no-shiled puck with 'VICEROY' imprinted on the side. Perhaps a real puck expert out there will know.
At any rate, these no-shields are pretty rare. This one shows light game use with a few scratches on a small nick on the reverse. I believe it was used in NHL play but have no COA to attest to it.
Buyer to pay to help defray cost of shipping/insurance.
I will also be listing:
A game-used puck from Montreal's game on October 15 vs NY Rangers, a 3-0 shutout win, w/ COA.
A game-used puck from Montreal's game on October 20 vs St Louis, also a 3-0 shutout win, w/ COA.
A warm up-used puck from Montreal's April 9, 2015 game with Detroit, a 4-3 win in OT, w/COA
Plus an official CCM-Converse Art Ross Tyer USA, official
made in Canada
NHL Canadiens game pucks: 1970s Viceroy, later 1980s InGlasCo shield back, Biltrite official NHL shield reverse and blank back B1 pucks and an official NHL game puck from the Guy Lapointe Night game on November 8, 2014.
