Motor Power Recommend
The starting current of the motor is much higher than its rated current, 4 times or 6 times or even more. If the rated current of motor is higher than the motor speed controller, it will be easy to damage the controller.
HARMNEE motor controller is with rated current 60 amps and supports max current up to 100 amps. We advise you to ensure the rated current of your motor is less than HARMNEE motor controller’s rated controller. Recommended motor power is as below.

How to insalll HARMNEE motor speed controller?
1. Before you attempt to wire the controller, make sure your power is off. And please turn off the switch and knob on the speed controller.
2. Follow the wiring diagram on the controller housing, connect the wires between power supply, controller and motor accurately.
3. Put the controller someplace, then turn on the power and controller switch. Now turn the potentiometer knob to adjust motor speed.
4. If everything goes well, fix the controller in a ventilated place. Then turn on switch and pontentiometer knob in sequence. Enjoy your DIY experience.
Frequent Question & Answer
Q1. Can this controller be used on a brushless motor?
No. This motor speed controller just fit for DC brush motor only. It adjust the motor speed by control real-time output voltage when you turn the potentiometer knob.
Q2: My motor is with rated 60amps, can I use this controller to adjust my motor?
I don't advise you to do so. Because usually the motor's start current is several times of its rated current. This controller support current up to max 60 amps. If you apply it on your controller, it would be easy to damage the controller.
Q3: Does the LED display screen shows the output voltage?
No, not voltage, not power, but power percentage. The screen show the real-time output power percentage of motor's rated power.
