7W- **Price is for slab pictured-very nice walnut slab with amazing blends of color.
This Black Walnut Slab was milled a year ago from a standing dead tree and has been stored indoors in 50% humidity. It was put in our kiln for a month prior to listing for sale. Should be dry enough to start work. My moisture meter reads 11%.
The slab has been planed on both sides. It will still need some sanding to get a perfect smooth surface.
It is approximately 10-13 inches wide throughout the length.
It is approximately 41-42 inches long. Ends are not perfectly square.
It is 1 1/4 inch thick.
The photos show both sides. Bark is intact.
It was misted with water to help show the finished color in some of the photos.
These are beautiful rustic pieces with occasional chips, cracks, frayed edges, insect holes and trails, etc.
I always give multiple pictures and a detailed description, so you know exactly what your going to get.
