Description

109B **Price is for slab pictured-very nice walnut slab with amazing blends of color. It will make a very unique curved, narrow tabletop or can be cut into multiple cutting boards.
This Black Walnut Slab was milled about a year ago from a standing dead tree and has been stored indoors in 50% humidity. It was just planed. Our moisture meter currently reads 11-12% on August 10th 2021.
The slab has been planed on both sides. It will still need some sanding to get a perfect smooth surface.
It is approximately 8 1/2- 9 1/2 inches wide throughout the length.
It is approximately 51-52 inches long. Ends are not perfectly square. Notice the curved shape.
It is about 1 1/8 inch thick.
The photos show both sides. Bark is mostly missing with age. The remaining bark is loose.
It was misted with water to help show the finished color in some of the photos.
These are beautiful rustic pieces with occasional chips, cracks, frayed edges, insect holes and trails, etc.
