Nikon AL-30 Rotary Laser (made by Spectra Precision) is a one-person leveling system designed for the most rugged environment. Accurate, stable and reliable, the AL-30 is ideal for longer range measurements across your entire site. It comes complete with a hand held or rod-mounted receiver and is also compatible with machine control receivers. Nikon AL-30 features their self-leveling compensator technology to deliver superior production, accuracy, stability and durability at general construction job sites. To use, place on a tripod and set it approximately level. The built-in compensator automatically sets the horizontal plane and the laser rotor starts revolving immediately. If tilted or jarred beyond its self-leveling range, the rotation and laser beam stop automatically and a warning light flashes. This makes it the superior method for dampening the effects of vibrations and rough use to ensure that you're always working with a stable, accurate beam even in extreme temperatures. AL-30 is designed so that any crew member can easily perform precise, error-free grade checking with reduced manpower and speedier setups. Nikon's waterproof housing ensures maximum productivity anytime, anywhere. Nikon AL-30 has a WORKING RANGE of 1,150 FEET and ACCURACY of 1/16" @ 100 FEET.
