**This auction is for a Wahl Lithium Ion 2.0 Deluxe Trimmer **HANDLE ONLY** - it does *NOT* include blades, combs, attachments or charger.**
This can be used as a replacement, a travel trimmer, a second trimmer for your other bathroom, a backup or as a pet trimmer.
It uses the newer lithium battery technology which charges faster and runs longer and would be a great replacement for the older models with ni-cad batteries.
This is from an open box retail store item with damaged exterior packaging. It is new and unused.
This model shares the same motor, battery and upgraded features as Wahl's stainless steel trimmers - more powerful, longer run time with a better battery and a charging indicator light - just not the stainless steel housing. I use this model myself and prefer it over the stainless steel models. I like how the shape fits my hand and the rubberized finish makes it easier to grip. It is also lighter weight.
The blades and attachments that work with this trimmer are the type that snap on. I show an example in the photos. (The blade is not included in the auction.) It uses the same detachable shavers, detailers and other attachments that work on Wahl models 5598, 9818, 9854, 9855, 9860, 9864, 9876, 9880, 9885, 9886. 9888 9937, 9994 and others.

A WORD ABOUT CHINA:
Do you buy a Ford or Chevy because its made in the USA? Do you realize 1/3 to 1/2 of all the parts in a Ford or Chevy vehicle are NOT made in the USA but in China and other countries?
Wahl is also a US based company that has many of its parts made in other countries, including Hungary and China. Buy a Wahl trimmer or shaver from Target or Walmart and take a look at the plastic parts in the package. Many will be stamped "China" or "Made in China." Wahl makes all its blades in Sterling, IL. USA but much of everything else Wahl has manufactured less expensively outside the USA.
So don't be surprised if your replacement part has "China" stamped on it - it's a genuine OEM Wahl part direct from Wahl, who had it made in China. If you want everything from Wahl to be made in the USA, then you need to take that up with Wahl.
