YES you heard that right we here at the sawmill are calling this the Bart slab because of this amazing piece’s very close resemblance to infamous TV show character Bart Simpson. We this is the LAST of these unique pieces so check them out before they’re gone!
Up for sale is a claro black walnut live edge slab.  It is kiln dried to furniture grade moisture content and rough planed on our helical head planer to flat.
This piece is considered project ready and will only need minor sanding and finish work to be a gorgeous finished slab.
There will be minimal movement in the grain or drying period to wait for, once you receive the slab it is 100% ready.
It was lightly sprayed with rubbing alcohol to bring out the character to see easily.  making this perfect for a coffee table that would push against the wall or a countertop piece/mantle with alittle added crafting.
The slab is appx. 1.75”x13-19”x54”
it’s kind of odd shaped but this is fairly close.
this slab has great character. There may be seperations and roughed up areas. please see pics for details.
It’ll make a beautiful project piece. There is incredible character in this slab. It may possibly have seperations, rough sawn areas or roughed up live edge. Please see the pics for details and to make sure this is the right piece for your project.
The bark may or may not stay on, I cannot guarantee it. Largest and smallest measurements are taken from the one side with the chalk markings on it. There is a flare sometimes which may factor into the measurments on the other sides of the slab making it larger or smaller.
