Up for Bid are three (3) separate packs of
Natural Uncut Gemstone Samples of Brazilian Gems
, three in each pack.  They are products of the famous
H. Stern Jewelry Company,
known world-wide.  Each pack includes three (3) stones, one of each) of the following gemstones:  [Total of 9 stones].
AQUAMARINE
: A member of the Beryl family.  Its color ranges from blue/green to deep blue.  The ancient Greeks and Romans wore it when travelling as a talisman against sea sickness.  In these packs, the color is a pale green/blue.  The shapes are slightly different.
CITRINO
:  A member of the Quartz family.  It runs its color from golden-yellow (Bahia) to reddish brown (Rio Grande).  According to legend it is the symbol of friendship and has the power to chase away nightmares.  In these packs, the gemstones are partially golden-yellow and partially clear like a clear Quartz.
TURMALINA
:  It can be found in red, yellow, blue, pink, black and in almost any shade of green.  The most valuable is the green stone, closest to the Emerald green.  The red variety is called Rubellite.  It is said that the Turmalina attracts inspiration and loyalty.  In these packs, the gemstones are a dark green, almost black.
The condition of each is
MINT
.  They are in their individual black boxes with the H. Stern name.  Furthermore, each box has a separate hard plastic case inside with three (3) separate bubbles, which contains a single gemstone, to provide maximum protection.  These plastic cases have NEVER been opened.
They have been kept in a drawer in my non smoking home for many, many years.  I got them when on vacation in Brazil.
I am hoping that a jeweler/artist
can turn them into something beautiful, as they deserve to "shine" in a piece of jewelry or artwork.
