For the last few decades manufactures have sent their production to China. Do not be surprised to buy a modern OEM switch and discover it is an "import". This "old stock" switch is proudly marked "Made in USA" from Independence Kansas. If it does not say "Made in USA" you can bet it was not.
PLEASE note that ignition switches were not serviced with the key cylinder or keys.
It was a factory "bulk stored" item and no packaging is included.
"When only Made in America" will do.
