We are not sure what exact variety of exotic grain these are. These are very hard and when knocked together they give off a sound similar to ceramic....but they are truly exotic hardwood with beautiful grains with interesting contrast of colors. The Deep tone category being darker have less contrast in grain. If you are an expert you can contact us with your opinion as to what the specific variety these may be.
