ANTIQUE "RADIUM" HAND-DRIVEN HAIR CLIPPER W/ORIGINAL RED & GREEN BOX

Description

The old hand squeeze hair clipper has some surface oxidation as the photos show, but it is unusual to
find the colorful "Radium" box with it
, the use of the term "radium" having come into disrepute due to illnesses caused pre WWII by those who touched the actual substance.
There is no real radium associated with these clippers,
just the promotional once lauded term that was supposed to mean modern and scientific.  The box measures about 6" x 4" x 2", and as you see has some rubs and discoloration over the century.  Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
