Antique Victorian Solid Wood and Brass Coal Log Scuttle
Hand-made Circa early 1900's (possibly late 1800's)
No shovel or liner
, but the box and metal work is in good overall condition.
Condition Description:
Overall in very good condition for its age.
Hinges, Handle and Metalwork are in great condition.
All metal could use a good polish.
There is a hairline crack in one of the wood mounts for the handle. It does not appear to affect it in any way.
There is a crack and some separation on the wood bottom as can be seen from the inside.
Scratches and scuffs from normal use over the last 100 years or so!
