    My father donated blood to Red Cross in the early 1960s when he worked for McDonnell-Douglas Airlines (although it was just Douglas back then I believe). We recently found this beautiful, vintage pin when we downsized my 88-year-old mother's home for an upcoming move she must make due to health.
