American National Red Cross Nurse Badge. Vintage. #217522

Description

This is a vintage, American National Red Cross Nurse's badge, #217522.  The badge is round with an enamel front side surrounded by a gold-colored silver plate (?) wreath, giving the edge a scalloped look.  The border is dark blue enamel with the words "American National Red Cross, Nurse".  The center is white with the red cross.  The badge is 1" in diameter.  The back has the badge #217522 and a "W".  The pin back is a rolling clasp, which is intact and works.  Other than slight wear, the badge is in nice condition.
This badge was issued in January, 1958.
