Starter comes with the correct engineering # stamped on it. We also stamp a date code on the starter. If you know the build date of your car and want a date code put on it let us know it with your payment. If no date code is included with payment we will not put a date code on it. Thanks

Starters are completely disassembled and cleaned
Part are basted clean to remove all paint and corrosion
Field coils are tested, replaced or rewrapped with new insulated field coil wrapping
Armatures are tested on a growler and a
leakage tester.
Armatures are machined, Commutators are turned, undercut and re-polished and sprayed with an insulating varnish
Components parts are cleaned and or new parts are installed
Starter drives are replaced with new or refurbished.
Field housing case is
restored and
is painted with a quality finish
Starters are tested to insure proper performance.
Starters come with new ID tags or ink engineering stamp if needed - year specific
Starters are highly detailed to look new period correct
