Description
These are American Red Cross volunteer pins produced between 1923-46, for "Production". They are round and enamel, with a dark blue border, white central background containing a red cross over a gold sunburst design. The words "American Red Cross Volunteer" are in the blue border. The pin back style is rolling clasp for both pins. They are intact and in good working condition. There is no manufacturer's info present on the back side of either pin, which measures 15/16" in diameter. Other than slight age-related wear, both pins are in nice condition. The pins are being sold separately (but you can always buy both if the mood strikes. . . ). Both are about the same condition, so I will send the one photographed first if you do not specify which one you want (black or tan background, since they are alike in every other way).
I have tried to describe any issues with this item as much as possible. I can post additional photos upon request and will try to answer any questions you might have that weren't addressed above. If you want to purchase more than one item, let me know and I will wait until your purchases are complete, then I will send a single invoice with one shipping charge.
NOTE: Some packages have taken up to a month for delivery with USPS, mostly due to their being short-staffed due to COVID. Please expect delays in shipping. I will NOT issue a refund if it takes a while for you to receive your item (yes, I have had some people try to demand this).
